§ 01 Research program

Four lines of inquiry into trust under autonomy.

01
Autonomous-agent security
Delegated authority, runtime authorization, authorization-artifact lifecycle management, bounded autonomy, and enforcement for agents acting on behalf of human principals.
02
Continuous trust
Continuously evaluating identity assurance and adapting access as authentication confidence, device state, behavioral signals, and context change.
03
Multimodal security
Combining biometric, behavioral, visual, contextual, and cross-platform signals for identity assurance and deception detection under uncertainty.
04
Private communications
Communication systems built around end-to-end encryption, minimal infrastructure trust, and user-controlled security.
§ 02
Independent research

Authored and prosecuted pro se.
Three related families.
101 claims total.

A pending U.S. patent portfolio in continuous trust and agent authorization.

Northgate Cryptography founder David Jensen has independently developed three related pending U.S. patent families spanning continuous identity assurance, multimodal biometric and deception analysis, and runtime authorization controls for autonomous AI agents.

The research program began in 2025 and has since grown into a broader investigation of how authority itself should change as the people, devices, and agents behind it change.

§ 03 Applied work

Research put into production.

Integrity
iOS · end-to-end encrypted

Status: in App Store review

Integrity — private messaging built on the research.

An end-to-end encrypted messaging application for iOS, built around the same principles as the research program: strong encryption, minimal trust in infrastructure, and security the user controls.

Currently in review for release on the Apple App Store.
